for spending $406 plus shipping on two new OEM 245/40 bridgestone potenza RE050s since one got a flat and couldn't be fixed, and they're too old to just replace one? I could have replaced all four tires with a less expensive model..

I've done that before (replaced two tires for one flat). So I must be just as dumb!

Dumb would have been replacing 1 and wound up with a bigger issue a few months down the road.

Ok, I'll state the question clearly this time. Should I have have purchased four new tires for maybe $450-500 instead of just two new rears for $426 shipped. Like Falkin RT-615s or something..

worst ****ing luck.. spending over $400 on physical therapy to rehab my ankle, and 400 on these stupid tires in two weeks.. I was going to buy a new AR-15..

high co-pay.. it's the one thing thats poor with my plan. no problem here and there, but when I need to string together a bunch of visits in a row, it adds up.
