I think this is BS, what do you think?

I think my attention deficiet just showed up.......

that sounds like one of those bullshit fake cashier check scams....... you give $7k to the shipper plus your car.... then about 2 weeks later you find out the cashiers check was fake.

I got a bunch of emails from assholes in Nigeria, etc.... when i was selling my porsche 914..... none wanted to look at it, all wanted to pay the full asking price and all had some kind of goofy ass story.

Sounds like a scam to me. First, a professional wouldn't send an email that poorly written. Second, sounds like those scams where you send a check, only to discover later that the original cashier's check bounces. I'd stay away from this one...

Edit: D'oh! Scot beat me to it...

I"m so confused and I'm not even drunk. Well, maybe that's why I'm confused.

It's a scam - do a search on the Internet and you'll find a plethora of info on it.

I was trying to sell my car and got one of those emails too. I played along and actually got the check in hand.

It's faker than fake - looks freshly-printed from an Inkjet printer.

Sad to hear so many people have been scammed from it -

Agree to it, then when the phony check comes call the FBI, CIA, USPostoffice Fraud Unit, NSA, Secret Service and the Boy Scouts and turn it over to them with the address you are supposed to send the $7,000 to. Somebody needs to fry!

I had one of these clowns FedEx me a check. I plan to frame it and keep it in the garage. If you look closely at it, the word VOID is superimposed all over the face of it in light gray large letters. Older people with poor eyes and desperate for cash are the usual victims of this stuff. Tell them to bug off or you'll contact the authorities. And hold on. Now that you've made "the list" lots more offers will be coming your way.
