even with the 2 party system less than 40% of voters can put a person in the white house, do you want to cut that down even more? you want a president that only 20% or less of the public wants? no thanks. i vote independent, once the larger parties notice a certain voting bloc getting large enough they adopt some of their policies out of self preservation.

 

You won't live long enough for that to happen.

I mailed that biotch in. I think it's a cool thing to be able to vote. In Canada there are different tactics to appeal to youth than there used to be, things like advertising saying "Just vote, dammit." and MTV commercials of women squatting and peeing in public places, accompanied by a message that "there's a better way to mark your territory, vote."

Not sure I'm a fan of it all, but I guess it's getting attention.
