i think pretty much every show is staged, not matter how "reality tv" it's supposed to be. i have a friend who works/worked on the hills. what he had to say about shows like that surprised me. i mean, i knew all of it couldn't be real...but the level he talked about is just wrong! reality tv my ass!

The set up is that this girl has a boyfriend but he is boring and nerdy, so she finds me, an adventerous street racer lol.
I swear, when I was at the street races with all the ghetto civics, I wanted to kill myself.
One guy came up and asked if I was a "drifter." I told him no, that I have built my car to handle well and the tires I have aren't really meant to be wasted and are pretty hard to break loose. (Yokohama A048s)
He goes and rubbs my tire, comes back to me and proudly says "They will do it"
I do a pretty sick sliding 180 though. I hope they put that in there.

Also, the guy in the show who is her "bf", I have gone to school with since 5th grade and have been in many plays with him. Now we are on TV together lol.
The girl is another chick I know as well.
Sorry to ruin the believers. There are more real ones than fake though for sure.

I just watched the episode! When I saw the S2000 on rims, I immediately grabbed the computer and did a search for 'Cheaters' and found this.
Yes, they did put your 180 slide in. It looked like you knew what you were doing. Of course, the v6 mustang doing a burnout with a couple people holding onto the fender looked pretty weak.
I also noticed your seats. Very nice!
Anyways, you're a rock star now but they blurred your face out! Did they have you sign the release forms? just curious....
