I'm only 3 hours from there. Here in Bend we can get a decent amount of snow in winter and always joke about the Portlander's inability to handle snow.

Mention the word "snow" in the weather forecast. The state shuts down. SC is backwards with snow. They use sand and brine instead of salt.
