Default ideas for what to get the parents?

I don't have a lot of time to get to the mall, but I'd like to do my holiday shopping online at JCP.com since I know they're having some pretty good deals going on with their After Thanksgiving sales, and I can find some good coupon codes and discounts online at the bargain sites- any ideas on what to get them though?

My parents spend the winter in San Diego, so the kids chip in a nd get them a few hundred bucks worth of gift certificates at some nice restaurants so they can go out on us several times while they are out there.

If your parents like to go out to a favorite place, just about every restaurant has gift certificates.
