lols, well both ways I think it's considered physical abuse, but just that girls can get away with it.

 

I'm no lawyer and don't have any personal experience with the subject, but everything I've heard indicates that your friend is indeed correct.

 

Walk away...Don't look back.

 

Legally, one person striking another person (against their will might I add ) constitutes assault if the offended party wishes to lay charges.

Call me traditional if you like, but it goes against all my moral convictions to slap a girl, even if she slapped me first.

I agree with awWhHDayUm and the rest of the comments. Physical abuse is uncalled for unless it is in self defense.

 

I would just walk away or try to block continuing swings to bruise her arm...

 

Physical abuse towards a woman is not right. There is no justification for it. Just walk away. Well unless she likes it rough...

 

It would also be against my morals to strike a female. However, legally, if they strike you they have assaulted you. Beyond that, if you feel you are in danger (hey it could happen!!) it is legal for you to use reasonable force to protect yourself. There is no distinction between whether the person you are defending yourself against is male or female.

 

don't slap her back, just kick/elbow/or go for the hairs.
