Yes, I'd buy that. I remember in '66 I saw a new one in Miami for around $6K. It had the 289 engine and was pretty well stripped - but what a car. At that time, $6K was like a million to me, so I could only dream. And I still am!

So far, for me it'd be an NSX and Cobra. Any other suggestions? Oh, by the way, I'd keep the S!

It's a concept 600 series. I think I first saw it on this board eons ago. This one and it's convertible counterpart are now part of my screen saver repertoire. More info can be found at this bmw site

If I came into $1million, I'd get one S2K to gut and track around, and another to Mugen-ize it. The current S2K would remain a daily driven.

There'd also be some sort of ute truck or sporty ute wagon.


If the cash pot were more than a million with more coming, then the 360 Modena in jet black would be sitting in the garage maybe with one of those prototype X5 M-editions next to it, also in jet black.
