So I'm curious... with the way the economy is and people not spending as much money... if you were allowed to have any 1 item free under say 2k what would it be?

I voted TV. You can never have too many TVs.

 

For two grand I'd get a 15" MacBook Pro.

i'll take a check for $2k and put it towards our new house.

of the items on the list, that's tough. i don't need a new computer, but would love a macbook. i think TV 40"+ is a good choice.

 

I really need a new laptop. Would be great to have an Intel Mac so I can run Windows locally and toss the ancient PC I have just for Internet Explorer testing.

If things were better financially I would have bought one at end of year for a write off but as things stand I need the money to live on right now.
