If you could be a superhero, which would you be?
Now for me, Superman is the obvious choice...super strength, super speed, x-ray vision, and he's nigh indestructible (or was that the Tick?
). Of course, that's a little too easy.
I've always been a fan of Colossus from the X-men...turning into steel would kick ass.
But then, Batman has the coolest car
.
Anyone else?

Whereas Xmen like Colossus, Cyclops and Wolverine are cool & Superman is virtually unstoppable, the Superhero I would most like to be would be. . .
Batman (aka the Dark Knight, aka the Detective). . .
Why you ask? Its simple.
Batman = A regular guy with SEEMINGLY UNLIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES and all the toys in the world. . .

Oops, did I just use this thread to vent?!?!?! Thanks for listening...

It would have to be Superman or Batman, I'd give the edge to Superman because well, the only thing that can fcuk him up is Kryponite. I seem to remember those two being the only original D.C. Comics Superheroes, although, I do vaguely recall a character called Captain Marvel, who used to shout 'Shazam!' to change instantly into his flying outfit!
The plethora of other characters which followed them always seemed a bit contrived and well..............unbelievable!

He met Lady Liberty in 1943, and after the end of the war, married her. He was heavily involved with the Reconstruction, He and his wife moved to the United States in 1950, where he continued to function as a hero until 1960, when he retired.

I never knew Nachtmeister was an american hero....I'm not quite as old, though.
