[QUOTE=suvh8r,May 9 2005, 04:29 PM] I would go for the Camilles Sidewalk Cafe as that seems to be the crap that people go for regardless of quality of food.

Chipotle is owned by McDonald's.
This I did know, but I did not know that Qdoba is owned by Jack in the Box.

As for quality, the food that I have gotten from Qdoba's throughout the midwest has always seemed a bit better than what Ive seen from Chipotle. It could of course be a store specific thing.

If you're looking to bring something new to the Houston area, i would pick Carl's Jr out of that list since that's something new over here. 2 other choices that would do even better would be: In & Out Burger, Whitecastle.
definitley In & Out or Whitecastle over CJ's....

btw...

Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle is a hysterical movie!!!!!!! if you haven't seen it yet,, GO SEE IT!!!!!!111

Backyard Burgers is awesome. They just don't have any in Louisiana (that I know of). Everytime I go to Florida or Mississippi I eat there just about every day.

It's not on the List but I would choose Fazolli's for my area, i don't know if you guys have heard of it, but it's basically a fast food italian place, the food is good, and it's fast, and you get free breadsticks when you dine in good stuff......plus it's different than most things so people would come.

Try free breadsticks if you drive through as well. One opened up whille I was in high school(near my school), and we always ate there. They do have good food there, and they NEVER refuse you bread sticks...NEVER!

In-N-Out doesn't have franchises. All their locations are owned by the parent corporation. "In-N-Out remains privately owned and the Snyder family has no plans to take the company public or franchise any units."

My family looked into getting Ben & Jerry's started in Central California but some guy bought the rights to that entire part of the state and sat on it for a decade. I think other franchising deals work that way as well so if you'er interested move fast.

Probably Subway because it was rated #1 in franchises to own by Forbes a little while ago, but would have to do lots of research before considering anything.
