Yeah, my roomate doesn't get bothered by their dander or anything, but when he plays with our kitten and gets scratched, the scratches get inflammed really quickly but shortly die off...

I have both, a dog and cat, and love both. People who hate a certain type of animal, especially a non-dangerous one, have psychological issues.
