If your S2ki.com age is 3+ years old, chime in here

I lurked way, way before I joined, had I only known at the time I would have been 3+ years old by now for sure...
The thing I remember most when I first started coming here was the fact that about every one in five threads went on to say the car was horrible to drive, the sudden snap oversteer was deadly, the S-02s were the worst tires in the world, bump steer was a huge engineering failure of Honda, it would hydroplane at 30 mph, it would spin out at 30 mph, and on, and on, and on....
A thanks goes out to xviper and Cedric, it was these two who convinced me it was more about the driver than the car and I should not live in fear. Thanks you two!

Sure those folks were the only ones that had time to post (waiting for the shop to repair the damage) everyone else was out driving!
I dont know my 2ski age, so Ill post and see. I was early into S2000fans too. My fondest memories are from Sept and Oct 1999, when they started to trickle into port, hidden deep in lots with chainlink fences, and people busted out their mega-zoom lenses to get us pics.

You can still see it! I haven't updated that page in like 2 years though, wahahahahaha
This car site was the first I've ever become envolved with.
When I first found it the early reports were coming in on the #4 cylinder failures and there was some very terrible pictures posted. Thanks to Barry of that western state the info started to show a pattern, at least to me, and I ordered my S2000 - throwing caution to the wind. Boy am I glad I did.
Next, I remember reading about Greg and the gang who visted the factory in Japan. Boy, I thought that must have been something special.
Mostly though I remember what a great wonderful source of information on any S2000 subject this site was. I just couldn't get enough info on it - tech info, mag articles, issues, dealer stuff, you name it and it was there, sooner or later.
I was always frustrated and disappointed at the personality conflicts and how so many small subjects just got totally out of hand. I never agreed with the bannings and I would still like to see one S2000 community but I know it will never happen.
All in all, it's been a nice ride and it's been even better to finally meet several in person.

I still come to this site for information, just last week I had to double check which fuse to pull to reset my ECU.. aside from the huge entertainment value its a great source of information..
this truely is a wonderfull place..
I do miss that closeness that we once had, but the expansion has its benifits too
