My first memory was finding out (here) about the spacers in the springs used during shipping. I had my S about a week (Sept. 99), went out and looked, and found them still stuck in there. This site has been very helpful, and entertaining, over the years.

I have been lurking for about three years. I found the www.s2000online.com site about a week after buying my S (Nov 10, 2000). I registered so I could go to Wanabe's West LA meet. There must of been 20 cars there! That was back when you would not see another S for several weeks at a time. Now I can't go two blocks without seeing two or three.

I actually believed they would only make the model for three years- another investment plan gone bad.

I have been a member for 3+ years, but I don't post much. It has been a great source of entertainment and information.

Peace.

Just though I'd chime in:

Memories:
1. Loading up the yahoo poll of the best roadster - miata, z3 or s2000.
I had half of the office clicking on the poll, after showing them how to turn off their cookies. I think somebody on the board made a robot to click it automatically. The miata people were doing the same thing. I remember the results were getting close to the millions! I think one of the mods emailed yahoo to tell them the poll was invalid. Quite funny!
2. To peel, or not to peel.
Somebody figured out that the windshield frame was black due to tape, and that it could be peeled off. I beacame a big contraversy whether to peel or not.
3. The letter "A" under the drive side mirror.
Anybody figure out what it is doing there?
4. What's the noise that occurs about a minute after the car is started.
My favorite response was it is the sound of the car bowing to the god of vtec.

My S2ki Age is finally over 3+ years. But I also noticed that a bunch of you guys all have the same "S2ki Age" (3 yr 46 days as of today). Does that mean a whole bunch of people signed on on that one day? Somebody work it back and see what date it was

As for remembering what went on 3+ years ago, I remember nothing. You know they say "memory is the first to go ..."
