Ignore lists
So, perhaps, give the creator of the thread the ability to delete posts (altho, the thread should be flagged as owner-moderated). Or, perhaps, mark them for deletion by the moderator. Or, set up a database with known PW's that would be eligible for deletion by the creator of the thread. You could then setup a "tribal counsel" that would vote PW's onTO "Delete Island".
Ahem... when some of you guys have finished screwing around, you're slowly but surely sending this site to Hell in a handbasket. People are clearly sick of it. You just have to look around to see that a lot of people just aren't contributing any more. We all like a joke, but most of this stuff is just inane drivel. I would invite the more intelligent among you to seriously question what it is you want from this site because it's certainly at odds with what the vast majority of members want and not what they joined for. Indeed, is it what you joined for? Think back a little.
The 'What The F^ck Do You Look Like' thread was a particular tragedy. People were actually coming out from behind their avatars and saying " Hey ... this me!" Sadly, it ending up sinking to the depths. I've always thought that it's a shame we can't be more open on The Internet. Silly old naive me!
I KNOW some of you people are highly intelligent. I SUSPECT some of you may not be, so I'm really trying to reach the former rather than the latter. There's selfish and there's dog selfish!

Wow, I just started using the ignore list after reading this thread. Once I got back in, it was a lot nicer.
I also believe that if you nothing to add you should not post, unless it is a specific PW thread.
NB Contrary to popular belief, PWring has been shown to reduce the size of laboratory rats' genitals.
