If you were betting on the toss of a coin, and the first 5 times it was tossed it came up heads, what would you choose for the sixth toss? Most people would choose tails, citing some mythical "Law of Averages." They'll lose: the correct choice is heads. If the coin is fair, the choice doesn't matter. If the coin is biased, it's clearly biased toward heads.

Sometimes the "obvious" choice is wrong.

I can easily taste the difference between Coco Cola and Pepsi.

Tastes like Pepsi as much more sugar.

 

If it's not Pepsi then it better have some alcohol in it.

 

I only drink Pepsi if I have to drink a cola.

In 1984 I was in Quito Ecuador and spent a night drinking brandy and coke. Quito is at an altitude of around 12,000 feet and alcohol combined with altitude sickness = massive hangover next morning.

Since that day I can genuinely say I have never let coke touch my lips - just the thought of it brings back horrible memories.

As for brandy - well, I still enjoy that regularly, but always with dry (ginger ale).

P.S. best comment I have seen yet on coke is the "como caca" t-shirts they sell in Mexico in the style of the "coca cola" script .

you should try Manhattan Special coffee soda.
Basically espresso and lots o' sugar plus carbonation.
mucho caffeine and sugar rush. Only problem is - a week later you're tired again.
