Im in my store sitting at my computer on s2ki bored out of my mind. Its been a REALLY fu&%ing slow day. Not much business at all. Yesterday for example I sold 6 blackberries and an aircard and made a pile of money. Today has been nothing but bill payments and phone problems.

And to top it all off, it was like 60 outside today AND sunny!

BUT the tanning place next door has had a constant stream of hotties going in and out all day so at least I have something nice to look at instead of the 2 year old promo material that takes up both of our plasmas.

So I know I cant be the only one who is bored at work right now...

I know how you feel

Every day at work, all I do is sit there and wait for someone to call me, bitching about how they f'd up their computer and expect me to snap my fingers and fix it.

Though that is assuming that I DO get a call since I work Sunday through Thursday from 2:30 to 10:30 at night. Which the wonderful thing about it is, my unit only supports about 50-100 machines after 4PM so I MAY get one call during the night which will take me on average 5 minutes to fix. The other 6 hours and 25 minutes of my night, I sit at work reading year old threads on S2ki, and one or two other websites.

I forgot to mention I don't get a lunch break or anything of that nature because there has to be 2 people on duty at all times.

And I know people have it worse than me so don't think that I'm trying to make it seem like I have it worse than everyone else. Hell, the armed guard standing at the front of my building doesnt have a computer, television, or magazine to keep him/her awake. The only thing he/she has is a radio and the couple of people walking in and out of the building at random times during his 12 hour shift.

 

im never bored at work, thats what s2ki is for. seriously i spend so much time on break, lunch or the internet it feels like i dont work at all. gotta love working for the goverment.

 

working at a bank inside a grocery store on saturday, which happens to be valentines, while being single watching everyone be happy and buying roses.
