I'm glad most of my customers aren't like this...

But then again, S2000 owners are unlike anyone else

The story makes me really, really sad.

I'm sure all of that has happened to you at one point or another. It's tough running a business on small margins.

that's why good customer service (a lot has to do with factory support) and good technical know-how is probably the last line of defense. prompt replies, quick deliveries, etc.. but most importantly, i find we have some very understanding customers. +97% of our customers are very understanding as long as we are prompt with our answers. i'm usually answering the phones and checking messages from 8am to 1am PST every day, Monday through Sunday (unless i'm in class or on the toilet seat ) - bet y'all didn't know that a good reason for that is because i need to call Japan and Taiwan at such odd hours, and we've got a bunch of night owls who browse the boards and suddenly have questions.

what else can i do to improve service? i'm still trying to figure that out, but there's got to be other things i'm overlooking.

For one thing, with a wireless lan and cordless phone you wouldn't have to stop offering great customer service JUST to go to the bathroom!!

Richard,

All I've got to say is if you're on the toilet, I don't want to talk to you. I can wait. Last thing I want to hear are strange noises in the background.

The first fluch isn't what gets you. It's the subsequent echoes from that little room that's really embarassing. It keeps flushing and flushing and flushing...........

Why do people always ring when you're 'sittin and thinking'.

I can go half the day with out a call but the second I go to take a dump the phone rings.
