I guess I missed it because I rarely watched.

 

It's a lot like Last Comic Standing. When's the last time you saw a big ticket show featuring Dat Phan or John Heffron? Meanwhile, guys like Rich Vos and Ralpie May are actually familiar with people who don't even realize that they were on LCS.

 

Wildncrazy, I had TIVO'd the last two shows and watched them last night (fast-forwarding through the crap) and I listenend to Adam very carefully. I now agree with you and admit I was wrong. I only heard what I believe to be falsetto in a couple very high notes. The rest of the time he can just sing in the high octaves naturally. I was pretty surprised.
I was also surprised he was off-key a few times in his second(?) song in the first show. I had never heard him go off before. Randy heard it too, "a little pitchy" he says. Surprise ending, all the same. I would put my $ on Adam to be the one to make the most money singing.

 

Adam reminds me a little of Axel Rose mixed up with Some Steven Tyler....
I think he will hands down be a bigger artist than Kris. Khris doesn't push music in any direction, he fits the current mold of a Jack Johnson, Jason Marantz kind of thing, or he could even go country if he chooses.

Adam's "Mad World" performance was the best I have seen all season
