Immediate HELP NEEDED! SCAM?
I just got back from Cancun and to make a long story short I think my parents might have made another bad move.
They were talked into becoming part of the International Vacation Club at Hotel Krystal in Cancun Mexico. I ended up pulling a google to get some rates and came up with some frightening information. If you would like to see it yourself search Krystal Nh hotels scam timeshares international vacation club or any of that stuff and see for yourself. Good news is my parents purchased it sunday so we have tommarow still to cancel! So anyone have any advice or anything? Anyone been in a position like this before? My parents just spent $3,900 on this and it REALLY scares me that when I try to find the hotels rates online I get all of this!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

If in doubt, cancel. Just from reading the few comments on tripadvisor, I'd say this is a shady sales outfit, operating outside US juristiction. If your parents want a timeshare, do the research, buy from a current owner (there are legitimate sites reselling timeshares), and make sure you can use your week at different locations.
We have a timeshare at the Westin, St. John, and we love it. They're not all bad, but you need to check things out before buying.

yeah, definitely cancel. If they question why, tell them you had a death in the family or something tragic that you need the money for. They'll be more inclinced to refund the money in that case and not give you crap reasons why you shouldn't cancel. If you just tell them that you changed your mind, they might pull some cancellation fee crap on you.
