Like JRM said. Titanium would not make a good knife. Yes it's good for light weight, and looks cool, but wouldn't hold an edge. Stick with a high quality steel knife.

Wusthoff is what we have. They rock! Henckle is also a very good brand.

That's a cool knife.

I just saw a commercial on TV about an Iron Chef series they are going to have in English. I think the host is going to be William Shatner. Should be funny to see Capt. Kirk try to host the show.

Sold it in college....good stuff. Wasn't happy with the handle colors though....kindof an ugly fake wood color. Have they changed in the past 10 years?

i do mostly chinese cooking (y'all are welcome to come over and have dinner ), so i have 2 of these:



they're called cleavers? do Wusthoff or Henckle sell this type of knife? it's used mainly for chopping/slicing meat/small bones/vegetables.

I have several Wusthoff and Henkels knives, and they are good. I have one Global, and that is my favorite. It stays sharp, and is well balanced.

Try www.cutlery.com They have all major brands.
