As said before, the current fan subs are crap, I only know basic japanese but I pulled of basic understanding of the episodes (mostly just simple phrases).
I LOVE how the graphics are cell shaded now, its extremely well done.
As for the WRX in the intro, that's Bunta's WRX Type R (or something like that). It's the car he uses in the manga and the Arcade game.
The animations have improved DRAMATICALLY!!!!
I believe the s2000 race is in... Volume 28 or 29... the racer for the s2000 is basically a legendary racer named "God of Arms" or something, because he always has 1 hand on the wheel and 1 on the shifter and has a combination of grip and drift style of driving.
Takumi did upgrade his engine in stage 2, its a racing engine now that puts out 240 hp with a 11k (or 12...) red line.
I actually think the race with the s2000 will either be a tie or the s2000 will win. The engines are very similar and the fact that its a combination of grip & drift it should be faster... then again initial d was never a series to listen to logic... ah well.
I'm trying to make an MP3 of the intro and ending song... anyone able to do it? My premiere is crapping out on me
I really want to get the mp3's of these songs and unfotunately they arent on the net either.
