[QUOTE=MikeyCB,May 20 2010, 08:21 AM] Perhaps I'm uneducated, but doesn't the whole "climate change" arugment stem from "global warming?"

And isn't hail frozen

The point is that it's creating warming over the atlantic and gulf, causing these massive storms as they collide with the weather from Canada/Alaska.
aka the point is once you believe it everything supports it.

Pretty incredible storm. Has to be massive property damage; hopefully pets and humans alike were able to take shelter.

Good drinking game for hail storms - take a cup and fill it half way with whiskey. Now, go out and catch the ice.

I'd be pretty freaked out if I was driving around with my top up...

I'm indifferent to the whole thing, personally. Do I believe we should do something about the greenhouse gasses and the amount of pollution? Sure.

Do I think the world's going to end in my life time due to the damages of the ozone layer, and the continued pollution? Not likely.

For storms like this to happen, you need warm air and colder air to collide. There will always be parts of the world colder than other parts to allow for these different weather patterns to develop. Hail needs that warm air to happen. You don't see huge hail storms in a cold winter storm. Hail is most prevalent during the warmest months of the year. It does nothing to prove or disprove global warming.

The past few weeks have seen some crazy storms in OK. We had a pretty bad one last night, but luckily no hail.

We had hail a couple weeks back, but nothing serious.

I am tempted to carry a weapon to club anyone who mentions the validity of global warming or "climate change" - a phrase adopted when they realized the amount of global warming was basically natural.

Gore deserves to be rotting in jail for the fraud he perpetrated. He cost the US trillions of dollars when the research numbers were all cooked.
