Insurance costs & modifications
I've been an S2000 owner for almost a year now and have had great fun with the car; despite some of the flaws, it's always been fantastic fun.
I'm a bit curious about the tendency of some owners to replace bits of the car - uprated exhausts & the like - and I wondered if those Stook owners who've done mods have found it more expensive to get insurance?
Here in the UK, it costs anything from

Nope they dont care about the mods we put on. They will probably be like well you put it on its not factory its not insured!
And as to when it will stop? When there are no more things to do.(not likely) or when you sell the car!
Went the same way with my stereo stuff in my old car. It never stopped changing/ upgrading.

Insurance is probably about the same here. For me its about 70 bucks a month, so that x12 months = ~840, maybe a few bucks over that. Not bad for being 27 years old, single, and a renter.
Mods? Yea, I'll do mods, no doubt. Not sure about the super expensive ones like the Comptech SC - at ~$5k, that's a nice car payment. I dont have the extra cash floating around like that because of crappy stock choices, so I'll stick it out and see what the future holds.
