Nothing. But if you need the church to tell you not to be a lowlife, not to steal, not to lie, etc.. then, you are weak.

I'm calmer than you are. I just hate seeing the same shit every 3 months. The only thing more regular than the reposting of "Zeitgeist" is my colon (as was discussed elsewhere).

I'm a reasonable man until I get poked and prodded by the Art Bell clan ad nauseum.

When they're practically paraphrasing "Beyond Good and Evil" in two sentences unknowingly, you gotta raise a flag.

Completely the opposite bro. The strongest people I know all believe in some sort of religion and all the lowlifes, weirdos and unhappy people I know don't believe in anything (except for conspiracy theories). If you think about it, many of the greatest and most influential people of all time were religious. The most basic and fundamental teaching of any major religion is to just treat people with respect, and not to do bad stuff like lie or cheat or steal, wtf is wrong with that? I really cant respect people that bash on religion or think only stupid people that dont think are religious In the end even if there is no afterlife or reincarnation or whatever, the church has its good teachings that are meant to help people and improve the world, Yes the church makes mistakes, but who exactly make them? People. Period. If nobody believed in a god or something to that affect, this world would b fd up bad. Those weak people would suddenly get a lot weaker and I think a lot of people would be really really sad.
And Im not even that religious.
I agree with your idea of religion, but I always wondered one thing. Do people know that everything you're told in religious books is a lie and just accept it knowing that it's for a good cause, or are they just oblivious to the truth? It would be quite a humbling experience for me know that people know better but just accept it for the better. That would mean they are wiser than I (a non religious person). If not, well....

What, exactly, is the truth?

You might find this an interesting read. Then again, you might not.
