Default Interesting event today with 2 motorbikes and a pissed off Mirage

As some of you might know, I have been posting about some initial advice on how to go about learning how to ride and what initial bike to get. I want to thank all the experienced riders here for their excellent advice. I have signed up for the MSF beginner course next month and will hopefully be getting my bike soon after. Just felt like relating an interesting event that took place earlier today:

Well here's the story: Was driving up the PCH (Pacific coast highway) in Malibu this afternoon and I saw this jerk in a Mirage coupe weaving in and out of traffic (the road was quite busy). Stereo blaring and the guy's head gyrating to the music He was trying to get ahead on an already very crowded road. He was stuck next to two guys on motorbikes. He would keep edging his car into their lane and from behind I could clearly see that this was unnerving them greatly and they had to keep pulling back and to the side whenever this punk decided to try and make a pass.

Well in a spur of the moment, I saw an opening and blasted my way through a gap right next to the bikers and just infront of the Mirage coupe. I did this on a spur of the moment in an attempt to protect the bikers from this very irresponsible driver. Pissed the Mirage coupe guy off like hell but I think the bikers were relieved because they had been in some trouble. A couple of hundred yards down the road we passed a cop going the other way, so I guess I saved the Mirage guy from a ticket as well since I put a cap on his weaving.

When the road opened up, I let the bikers pass, one of them gave me a wave. The Mirage guy passed on the inside, looked very pissed.

Anyway, I havent even started to ride yet - but I feel the camraderie!

Hope I did a good deed.
