Just wondering how many people on the board work for an internet company, and what their role in the company is.

My day job is as the Lead Software Architect at an online check processing company, where we process checks for more then %80 of the adult sites online.

I also own my own company doing lead generation and traffic trading.

if an "internet company" is a company that generates 90% or more of sales via the internet, count me in. I assemble Compaq and HP servers. Dell and IBM when demand exceeds capacity in those departments. No data on how many are used as WWW servers vs. database or other in-house purposes, but I regularly scrape Enterprise and E-Trade stickers off our products before reselling. I always like to think our Sun guy "dots the I in internet"

 

I guess this includes me, though its not anything all that special I dont think.

The main website my company has right now is a gold buying service (people have broken jewelry or stuff they dont want anymore and we buy it).

We also just started up a new site that sounds a lot like what the OP has in terms of "lead generation and traffic trading."

 

I do, but my job with them has absolutely nothing to do with the internet. They have a defense division they bought a few years ago that I work for. Does this count?
