Internet Explorer 8. Done but with errors
Hey everyone, yesterday here on my computer at work, I tried to view a thread and I get a "Done, but with errors" message at the bottom of the screen and it wont load the page. It is still doing this today with all threads, and its only on this computer. I can see all the fourm topics, and go into certain things (like off-topic) and it works fine, but then when I click any thread, it does the same thing. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this? This computer has Internet Explorer 8, and I searched and tried a few different things with no success. Also since I cannot view threads, I wont be able to look at this until I go on my lunch break on my personal computer. If you could PM me with any advice, it would be much appreciated.
Try clearing the cache and force reloading a page. I'm not sure what is going on with the site but half of my hosted pics fail to load every now and then, and I have to force reload to get them to show up.
I have the same problem with IE. I cleared the cache and did all the usual but no luck. I even went back to IE 7 and the problem persisted. Loaded IE 8 again and got the same thing. I just use Firefox now no problem.
It's people like the people in this thread that give IE a bad name.
But yeah, go ahead and use Firefox, it has a gaping anus for security vulnerabilities. Not to mention you have to reinstall the entire freaking browser just to get one vulnerability patched, LMAO.

^Problem with that theory is microsuck dug the hole they are in now, IE is no longer the premier internet browser has not been since Jan 2009 and is losing more share daily. Check it

Hey you mention FF has security holes and needs to be reloaded for fixes. My thoughts on that BFD it takes less than a minute to do and if you want to talk about security vulnerabilities last time I checked IE was full of em.
