My internet is snappy!

Why??

Because I pay $80 a month for it!

You cant pay $9.95 or even $14.95 and have ANY sort of expectations from your internet.

Pay $500 a month and you hook up your own T1 line depending on the area and if you'll probably have to share it to get the price. Despite the sharing, you will never have to wait for anything ever again. With minimal users instead of 10,000 students or co-workers sharing the internet will be waiting for you, and will never be vice-versa again~ Call now @ 1-800-Just Kidding.

9600b.. how about 2400!

T1 is pathetic by todays standards. And regardless of how fast your connection is you can/will still experience slowdowns because bogs occur in locations all over the internet and your 10832098320382038203820382mbps connection won't help.

Applications will always be bloated enough to slow your computer down.

Websites will always be bloated enough to take forever to load.

Its a two way connection going through ? connectors. The slow down could happen anywhere. Higher speeds would require faster servers more so than bigger pipelines.
