Typed URLs are stored in your registery. You can delete them by running regedit and searching for the url, or get one of the Internet/disk cleaning packages that delete this stuff for you.

It's built in. Go to start -> run and type regedit.

Easy answer:

1. Go to "Tools" in IE Explorer.
2. Go to "Internet Options"
3. In Options, change the "Days to keep pages in history" to 0
4. Click "OK"

That's pretty easy. You can also just click "Clear History" - that'll work as well.
