I hate to date myself, but I remember when kids used to make stuff like that out of old skates. Hell I remember some really good times sliding down a dirt hill on a piece of cardboard. Now I have Rollerblades, a Goldwing and waiting on a S2K.

thats great! where do I get one? I guess since it doesnt fold it wont fit in the S2K trunk eh?

Hey wirejock I can relate to that. I remember back in '65 as an 11 year old I built my own skateboard using an old pair of rollerskates and a 2 foot long piece of 6 * 1 timber which I rounded the edges on. I then varnished it up and it worked great. Nowadays, do you think I can get my 13 year old son to even think about building something himself (well, not s/w related anyways!) Hmm, ...
