Previous iPhones sold for ~$100 right before the new versions came out - new iPhone is on its way.

If you can wait. New one is being announced at WWDC which starts June 7th. For $100 more (on contract) you can get a 4th Gen iPhone.

 

I still use a dumb phone, it can't see spending the $$$$ for the data plan.

 

I thought that for the longest time. and now data plan is sooo worth it,

 

i really wish they come out with tiered data plan though - for those of us who don't use as much (i average 300MB/month over 3G on my iPhone), we're really just subsidizing those that abuse the crap out of the plan - i've heard people who go into gigs of data/month.

 

is that the phone itself, or do you have to buy a contract and all?
