I had a Creative Zen Touch when they first came out. It was great, and I considered it superior to the iPod. The problem was that the hard drive failed. After something silly like 90 days the consumer has to pay for the labor to replace the drive. That would have run me $60 plus shipping. I just bought an iPod. I can deal with the lack of freedom.

ok, I just want to clear something up right now.
all I was doing was attempting to enlighten a coworker on music he never heard. maybe he'd like it and go out and buy the album, or support the musician when they came to town....
but chances are he probably would have hated it, since most people these days have shit for taste when it comes to music. and in that case, he would have simply deleted it, and no harm done.
however, because iLife pretty much owns all aspects of itself, there was little I could do other than burn him a cd.
that is all. thread over.
