hey guys i need to get my videos and pictures on my television. Anf i know apple has a av kit for 100 bucks, but i saw on cnet.com a while back that you could use regular av lines and that all apple did was switch around the connections. Does anyone know exaclty how to do this?
i cant find it on cnet and not totally sure how to connect, also i dont have any av lines now so i wanted to make sure it will work before i go out and buy them. If not i have no choice but to get the rip off 100 buck apple av lines.

 

I believe Apple switched the colors around so that if you tried to do the reasonable thing, and buy generic A/V cables, you would think they don't work.
Instead of plugging yellow to yellow, try red to yello etc.
