$250 Battery? Glad I don't own one. It seems like the unit is useless after 18months.

The battery is replaceable for $90 if you have Apple do it, or as little as $49 from other vendors if you do it yourself.

shrug Not in my opinion.

I've already had to replace my S2000's battery for more than that. I've killed off three laptop batteries. Using disposable alkaline batteries would have cost way, way more than that. A replacement battery for my Nokia cellphone lists for $59.99.

I bought a yellowtop battery for my car for $150. But thats powering a car.

Shouldn't they be able to produce these little batteries for us consumers at a more reasonable prices?
