The only reason Morimoto lost the re match in Tokyo was because the fool from the American Embassy gave Flay a score of 19, which in itself was questionable, and then gave Morimoto an unheard of low score of 14. Now, in all the years I've been watching Iron Chef, I cannot remember anyone anywhere being given a score of 14 unless his or her dishes were a complete wash-out and abysmal failure. In addition, you could see that Chairman Kaga had a real problem just announcing the results, and even went so far as making his statement about how the scores were above reproach. Bobby Flay showed his spoiled brat attitude throughout the match, and the coterie of fans there to support him were acting like really boorish small children. Overall, as an American, I was thoroughly embarrassed both by Bobby Flay's behavior AND by the voting by the American official from the Embassy. Those votes should have been removed and the taster disqualified. Chairman Kaga should have used the same set of tasters for the rematch that he had used for the first battle. Iron Chef the show suffered a blow to its reputation of fairness by allowing this travesty to take place.
