Default Irritating Chinese websites...

I swear there's some real attitude problems out there. One site I visit constantly sets up barriers for non-Chinese and it's damn hard getting around them. If they detect you are non-native, you instantly get banned. Lucky for me, I can read a bit of Japanese and can stumble my way past the sentries. This is the third time I had to do this in a month.

I would not care so much if they didn't have a pr0n and hotties collection that rivaled Wantone's

No, this particular site does crap like de-register their users and then make them do something to get access again.

What they did this time was remove everyone's access and then required them to post an intro on a forum. The intro had to be in Chinese - any other language esp. English results in instant bannination.

Honestly, I don't see the reason for it. There weren't any problems with foreigners polluting the board or causing abuse. It just came off as arrogance - especially after seeing what some of them posted in response to English language posts. That and the constant Japan-bashing.

I got around the recent scheme ('cause I can't write Chinese worth a damn - just Japanese) by going to other people's introductory posts, picking one that looked good, make a subject from another post, and what do you know - I fooled 'em. For now. If there was the slightest hint that the person who wrote the post was not a native speaker, they would quiz them to make sure.

As I said, I was there for the pics .

No, I'm not. I just lurk over there. I can figure out the website pretty much, and OS X translates for me that which I don't understand.

One of the first things I learned to avoid were posts of pictures that had the term "man-monster" in them. Truly frightening.
