Hey 2kturkey, my heart bleeds for you.

In Montreal, they are taking away from me 53 cents on the dollar and then 15% everytime I buy something!!!

take that.

Yeah, Canada's cost of living is scary. I fly up there on business and can't believe what you pay for fuel and merchandise, so much as taxes. We don't even have state income tax here in Florida. My sympathy to Australian and Canadian taxpayers.

Get this...the State and City of New York took a supercharger from me. This is so I can enjoy construction all night and dirty subway stations. I f'ing hate the municipal government in New York City.

And all you whiners in the British Commonwealth have subsidized healthcare, right? 'Nuff said.

Sunchild,

I would gladly pay for my health care and get taxed 30-40% with 5% sales tax.

What do you pay a month in health insurance? 200 a month? I get taxed multiple THOUSANDS a month.

Free health care = whoopdy freakin doo.

Free health care is only good for low income/no income families. For anyone who is middle class and above.....

The only good thing I can say is that my housing is probably 80% cheaper. A nice house where I live costs about 150K or about 100K US. That same house in any of the bigger cities (Montreal is 2nd or 3rd biggest in Canada) would cost maybe 500K US! So my housing is cheaper, but then again you guys claim your FREAKING MORTGAGE AS A TAX DEDUCTION!!! We cannot do that.

Disgruntled Canadian,

Rob

Still single- I haven't found a woman that deserves me!

I just hope Uncle Sam buys something cool like a machine gun or grenade launcher with my hard-earned $$.

Get a job as a salesman, I paid about 4% income tax last year after all my deductions. The amount of money I would have to make if I worked in an office would be stagering. It's all in the takehome

PS. I should also mention, it's all legit

I hear you, man. I don't really mind paying taxes; I just like to bitch about it.
