Plus, I don't know of anywhere else that kill another person out of honor. I think if a Muslim woman cheat on the husband, she would get killed by her husband and people will cheer him on? What the!!

Sorry - I'm not trying to pick on anyone here - I just found this interesting and somewhat relevant:
While trying to learn more about the Islamic practice, I came across a story about an Iranian woman who was convicted of adultery. The article states, "In accordance with Islamic prescription, she was then buried up to her armpits and stoned to death in the presence of judicial and prison officials."

Did the article mis-state or is it really Islamic prescription?
The woman was also convicted of murdering her husband but it was the adultery conviction that carried the stoning penalty. Her lover was sentence to hang. And to think here in America an adultress and her lover would get 50% of everything her husband owns plus alimony.

religious fundamentalists exist everywhere... there are sections of the bible that say the same basic thing. luckily most people ignore those sections.
