Hey have you guys tried out itunes or the new napster.

I'm liking itunes better for some reason. I think the interface is a little cleaner and they seem to have a better selection of songs. Not a bad service $0.99 per song is not that bad, but it's not as good as free. If they could get the price down a little bit mpre, i think it may succeed..

What do you guys think?

 

i like itunes a lot, 99 cents a song is not horrible, but the real deal is all the cd's are only 9.99, can't beat 10 dollars for a whole cd no matter how many songs. Interface is kickass.... of course mac's are design oriented anyway, that reminds me... i need to order panther.

 

just stick with kazaa lite

I think that some of the sites are getting all messed up...i still don't wanna pay for the songs....that's why i have DSL for faster!!

 

yeah...the choice is pay for music, or get music for free....i choose the latter.

if im going to spend money online to buy a mp3, even for 99 cents a song, id rather put the extra cash down and get it from the local cd store. i prefer it on a CD.

 

I use the record store. Sorry for doing it the old way and making sure that the artist receives compensation for their work, silly me.

 

I personally feel that .99 is a pretty good deal - particularly in light of the fact that I tend to only d/l 5 or 6 songs at the most.

bad karma not to pay the artists in some fashion, IMO
