actually he was rescued and we really don't know his birthday. Our vet. estimated his age and gave him the birth date of Jan 1st. 1997...

I just found an abandoned dog last week. Kept her for a couple of days. Put posters up all over the neighborhood looking for her owner. No response, took her to the local shelter where they told me they would have to put her to sleep, if no one claimed her within 48 hrs. Well the dog is back in my home now so you can guess how that went. Looks like my lab has a new friend. If anybody in the NY area wants a very friendly, well behaved, totally trained dog let me know.

 

It's grey hair under his chin. I guess he's getting old.
