Japan! help a s2ki'er out
Do not fall asleep on the subway, you will be awakened by a middle aged Japanese woman with a really dark tan fondling your crotch through your pants. (happened in march 2006)
Do not bring your girl on a crowded subway car or the back of her jeans will have semen on it from some perverted(hentai) Japanese businessman. (happened in december 2006)

There's sooooo much to do there! I would recommend Odaiba and of course Harajuku (fashion district that's geared more toward young people). I would also recommend checking out Shibuya station - if you go up into the Starbucks, it's an awesome place to people watch (crazy busy intersection), plus the statue of Hachiko is there as well. We found a super cheap hotel right in Shinjuku (about a 5 minute walk from the station). Can't remember the name, but if you want I can try to hunt it down.
In Osaka, check out Osaka Castle...If you are able to, I would also HIGHLY recommend you stay in a ryokan (a traditional Japanese inn). We only stayed in one for a single night because it was fairly expensive(just over $300 IIRC), but worth every single penny....Man you've made me all nostalgic. If I think of anything else, I'll post again.
