Hey all, I have a question. A friend of mine is visiting Japan for a couple days and he was hoping to go on a Honda factory tour while he was there. I did a search but nothing came up...

I know a few of you have gone on some tours of the Honda facilities where S2000's and NSX's are built. Could you let me know where to begin to look for information regarding sign up for a tour.

I've been to the Toyota Corolla/Vibe/Voltz/Tacoma factory tour in Freemont Cali, does that count??

 

The Tochigi plant that made the S2000, NSX, and Insight is now a research facility. I believe the S2000's, NSX's, and the Insight are now made at the Suzuka plant..

 

Soda, your tour's more than I can say I've had. Dealers are as close as I've ever come...what a bust.

John Speed organized this trip. I haven't seen him post here for a while now, I don't really even remember his S2Ki handle (jgs***) I'm not really sure what's involved, since I signed up at the very last minute.

I'm not sure if they have moved S2000 production to Suzuka yet. I was under the impression they wanted to but haven't.
