Not really worksafe, if it is in fact real. It looks like a kid or a dummy/mannequin is strapped to the front of the vehicle when it gets hit by the train.

Lead locomotive looks like a Union Pacific GE Dash 8.

Fake or real, you decide:

I believe the video is real - but I don't believe a human was crushed, The scene reminded me of growing up and spending time in the So Cal desert and we would do stupid stuff like that in sand rails, atv's etc...

Suffice it say say that Jeep is written off. Who knows whether or not it was the train that caused it. I don't think anyone was injured, and indeed, if so, why isn't anyone rendering first aid to that "person" laying beside it. If this is a prank, I'm not sure I approve. Someone could have been genuinely injured, not to mention the copious amounts of property damage incurred.

What a silly movie.

Well, I know one thing for sure, the train REALLY hit the jeep, because of the sequence of events:

Jeep looks like its on the track
Train comes, jeep is STILL on track (train is doing probably 35 or so)
In the next scene, the train is STOPPED with the jeep flipped over off the tracks.

The part that is unable to be determined is if there was a human in or on the jeep. Although, I figure if someone was killed in that sort of accident, it would have been ALL OVER the national news.

But we never saw the collision. Is it possible that the Jeep was moved off the tracks? (maybe flipped over off the tracks before the arrival of the train?) Then a second train arrives, is prompted to stop for one reason or another. The two scenes coupled together make the writer believe that the same train was responsible for colliding with that Jeep.

Just a thought.

At 22 secs you can hear the train brakes applied. But doing a google search on Glamis Nev or Cali came up with nothing.
