Jensen has always had attitude... but hey, I'll support anyone as long as they get BAR Honda on the podium.

the ITV-F1 site has a lot of the dirt more so than the official F1 site. Basically Jenson had been talking to Frank Williams behind BAR's back and they think they found a loophole, and Jenson screwed over BAR to go back to Williams who originally ditched Jenson a couple years ago and BAR has nothing but taken care of him and got him on the podium for the first time ever. But for some reason Jenson still feels Williams is a better opportunity for him. Also he wasn't returning contact with owner of BAR about the situation lately, although their relationship may not be as close as it seems either, but still he's giving BAR the shaft bad and being a jerk about it IMO.

 

so what now? Give Jens the boot and let AD drive the rest of the season?

Ideally both the team and the driver will be professionals about this and do their best to win every weekend, but they are human after all and there has to be some unhappy campers in the BAR crew right now.

Sad that this kind of controversy has been the biggest story of the year.

 

Yeah... this kind of takes the fun out of rootin for BAR. Knowing that Jensen isn't dedicated to the team I support.

 

Jens is suppose to finish the season and I'm sure he'll drive hard because he still wants to win regardless, just sad this has become such a drama

I've been following it all on itv-f1.com they seem to be keeping really good news on it. Button may lose his super-license to drive F1. BAR seems to be still holding a binding contract although Williams claims its

A little harsh but true.................

 

Not sad at all... Williams dumps him.. then he ends up with BAR eventually.. they bust butt and get him a good car and he gets podiums, then he turns around and says his best chance at championship is with Williams, who hasn't really been able to keep up with BAR all season... wtf.. the Williams that dumped him a couple years ago..

Screw Button..I've got such a foul taste in my mouth now for him no matter how good of a driver he is. I'll pull for him simply because he's driving for BAR but as soon as he's gone.. forget it.
