when is Hero to be released in the US?

I think other than Hero, alot of the acting he has been done has been pretty poor.... action scenes aside.

I also didn't know he was so old... the baby face was starting to go.. but 41 is older than I thought. Fist of Legend is still my favorite

The two fight scenes in the Lethal Weapon 4 or 5 was what did it for me in reagards to Jet Li.....plus since then I've never really liked him in "good guy" roles. I kinda wished that he played more of the evil, bad guy roles.

...oh well.

To quote the article....

"He is only studying Buddhism and will not become a monk," said Zhang.

I will take Jackie Chan over Jet Li any day. Sure there is bad plots, acting and goofy slapstick, but no wires. Its all Jackie. The man is/was amazing and fearless with his stunts.

Loved Rumble in the Bronx and Drunken Master 2.

How can Jet Li become a "monk"? He has a wife (actually, his second wife) and four kids.
