Several years ago I had a GTX. I got rid of it though. The lakes were a PITA to get to and most of the time they were full; unless you got there extra early. The state park pass was a joke. You would buy one of the universal passes and it was good for any park. What they never mentioned is that it was good for any park they manage they doesn't have water, and is only good for this park with water.

Love them. Need to get the Seadoo XP serviced for the summer and hit the lakes.

Yep. I have a Yamaha Waverunner LTD. 1200CC, 155 HP 3 seater.

Haven't had it over 90KMH with 3 people on it yet but it will do it I'm sure.

Yep I have a Kawasaki 1100zxi.. And I love it. I have it docked at my parents house on the lake. The only problem is now I have a stook and cant tow it to the beach for some really good wave action (went out when the swells were 5 to 7', you definately need a helmet when you are jumping 10+ feet in the air off the waves). I ride mine year round, invested in a full wet suit and gloves. Just make sure the heater is on in the car/house when you come in to warm up. All in all the jet skiing is a blast.

I had an evaporation kit put in mine as it was sometimes hard to start after being beached for a couple of hours in summer. Fuel would evaporate in the lines. A common problem apparently.

These babies have some grunt though don't they? I'm totally hooked on it although haven't ridden for a month now.. winter and all that ... getting soft

Check this out. I know it's an advert and the ski is not an LTD but it embodies the feeling well....

Kirk, didn't know you had a seadoo. I know John David does. If you guys want to launch em I have some friends who live about 100 yards away from a private boat ramp near Carlos and Charlies.
