Well since his brother OD'ed at the Viper Room, you would think he'd be a little smarter but he was raised by a couple of hippies.

It seemed almost fake honestly. He is a fairly decent actor.

that's what I'm going with. I think it was all an act. Kinda like Will Ferrell on Conan OBrien (more than once) just coming in "character".

I doubt its fake. Yeah he says he does not want to act anymore and he wants to do music. Sure, just part of his own self destructive downward spiral.

Appearances like this alienate people and ruin careers, you don't take a chance like that. He is not Will Ferrel, he is not a comic actor, to do something like that on purpose would be incredibly stupid. How many people rush to see Tom Cruise movies after he makes an ass out of himself on Oprah? His star has been tarnished and people think he is a freak.

If his publicist comes out and says it was an act, it will be followed shortly by an announcement he has checked himself into rehab.
