job background check

Default job background check

ok so this new job im trying to get did a background check and i put a job title on my resume but my boss said another job title but they wrote on it "Job titles are equivalent as per source." can anyone tell me what that means???

It's a fancy way of saying they're a match. Nothing to worry about there.

They are equivalent. Maybe not identicle, but equivalent. Waiter and Server come to mind.

my old job I had the title of financial manager. my current one is senior financial analyst. Same thing really.

My friend in NYC has a similar job but he's a finance director. Finance Director is a big shot in my

That sounds like some kind of automated check, as opposed to reference check. I haven't heard of an automated career history check though

i have another question both previous jobs i put a diffrent position then i really was but i really did that work but my stupid boss told them i was in a diffrent position soo on my background check it has what i wrote and what my former boss put so there diffrent but on were it says previous job it says Not:Job titles are equivalent as per source for both my jobs what are my chances of getting in?
