I missed my juror service today. I had to drive my parents to the airport and forgot to show up. What is going to happen? Am I in trouble?

they can put out a warrant for your arrest, if you want to mitigate the consequences, i would go to the court and explain the situation and see what you can do

they wont be happy, I can say that much. They will probably threaten you with something and then just summon you soon for some other case. Buy a calendar and hang it on your refridgerator or buy an organizer and take it everywhere with you.

 

Call the court asap and get rescheduled before they issue a warrant. People do it all the time. Don't screw up the second time though.
